| Panel mount connectors for mating with hermaphroditic, multi-channel format TAC-4 or TAC-12 connectors. Unlike feedthrough panel mount connectors, the TAC-4/12 panel mounts utilize fiber termini that must be bonded to the fiber elements and machine polished. The hermaphroditic design of the TAC-4/12 format permits mating to either end of a TAC-4/12 cable assembly, eliminating mis-pulling and adding flexibility in daisy-chaining cables.. |
