DES PLAINES, IL, January 24 , 2006 - Gepco® International has issued a Certificate of RoHS Compliance covering more than 160 Gepco cable products. The Certificate confirms that Gepco's products comply with the European Union's Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive and the California Electronic Waste Recycling Act. The RoHS Directive was originally established to address concerns regarding the accumulation of hazardous wastes resulting from consumer products.

"Gepco® International prides itself on its commitment to the environment and the continued development of safe and environmentally friendly products," stated Scott Fehl, product development manager for Gepco. "We have met or exceeded the necessary requirements and are devoted to continual compliance."

This compliance applies to products manufactured on or after June 15, 2005.
